Excuse me Mr. President,
So a few weeks ago I picked Chloe up from school and we were talking about her day. Out of the blue this is what she stars asking me:
Chloe: Mommy do you know what I want for Presidents Day?
Mommy: (thinking to myself when did we start exchanging gifts for this day?) No Chloe what do you want for Presidents Day?
Chloe: Well, I would like for Barack Obama, Sasha, and Malia to come to our house and play.
Mommy: Sweetie I think that he is too busy working in Washington.
Chloe: Do you think you could call him when we get home and ask him?
Mommy: I don't have his number
Chloe: Well, he still has his blackberry I heard them say that on tv. Call him at the White House and see if he wants to come to Jonesboro.
Mommy: (Oh, a little freaked out at this point)
I explain to her and tell her that I do not know President Obama well enough to call him, but I told her we would write him a letter.
Later on that evening I heard the tv on in the kitchen. I just assumed that Chloe had turned on the tv to Disney or Nickelodeon. She had been watching it for awhile so I went to see what she had on... She was watching MSNBC??
Mommy: What are you watching??
Chloe: Barack Obama is on this station.
Mommy: Have you been watching this very long
Chloe: Yea, I am waiting for him to come back on.
Mommy: Ok, Chloe whatever...
A few days later we come home and Chloe wants to watch YouTube. She wanted to watch Barack Obama, so we put it on a clip of him and his girls. I figure after about 10 minutes she wants to watch something else. I go and find her watching President Obama's speech the night of the election . She watched it 3 times! Later that night I ask her what she got out of the speech... She thinks for a second and she says CHANGE.
Her Daddy is not very happy with this new interest. He voted for the other guy. We now have to watch all his speeches, and anything else that pertains to him.

Farewell Great Christmas Break...
Well we knew it had to happen eventually.... that date I never liked hearing or never thought would actually get here. Monday January 5th...here we go again...ugh. Oh how we will miss those lazy days of staying in our PJs all day..loungin around doing a whole lot of nothin...staying up late..sleeping in (I will be in shock Sunday when I have to get up for church) This has been a great long break, and thankfully we have all been healthy and really enjoyed it. I am hoping we get a snow day around February, and then before you know it its Spring Break, and after that its all downhill from there. So if we look REALLY REALLY hard you can see those May flowers blooming.
I will miss bloggin and facebookin everyday just for funsies(stole that word from Danna) and reading all my buds posts and walls. Chloe can't wait to go back to school. She has been ready to go back right after Christmas was over..What is up with that?? You would rather be at school than home?? Makes me feel special!! I am thankful I have a job that I love otherwise Monday would be just too much to bear, so all of you starting back Monday my heart is heavy with you...boohoo!! I have nothing more positive to say or add..I am going to go fake cry now :-(

Cuteness with ATTITUDE!
Most of you in my blogger world know these three little cuties, but in case you don't pictured is Eva Grace(wonder who made her shirt?)Avery, and Chloe. These three girlies are one of a kind. I could write a book on all of them! When they are together it is quite a show. The night these pics were taken everyone in Wal-Mart knew they were there. One minute they are loving all over each other. The next minute it is a WWE wrestling match, and they are tearing into each other. You might think the moms break up the fight, but most of the time we just sit back, laugh, and watch the show, and then after the match is over they are back to being BFFs. Most of the local restaurants know us when we arrive (not sure if there excited or scared when they see us coming). Some of the girls most favorite places are Chick-fil-a (remember the screaming day there Barrett??), Coltons (our summer fav..remember the dingy Waiter we always got Erica??), Salsa's(the Barrett family should own stock in that place), and Upper Crust (they hang out at the bar there, and flirt with the cute Waiter Kyle..I think he thought the moms had a thang for him. He was so nice and patient with them) These three darlings are very much alike, but are also very different. They are very headstrong, spunky, funny, lovable, sweet, smart, sassy, independent, and cute girlies. Look out Kindergarten teachers!! They are coming to your schools soon!!

My Christmas Joy.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! The Reed family certainly did! The girls got lots of stuff, and we have no room for it. No one was sick (which is unusual because normally one of the kiddos is). So Christmas evening we were coming home from a very long day in K'town Missouri. We were all very tired. I had figured the girls had zonked out because they were very quiet. About the time I looked back to check on them I saw Berkley looking for Chloe and reaching her hand out for her. Chloe very gently grabbed her little hand and held onto it the rest of the way home. You could tell Berkley was content holding her sisters hand. I saw Chloe rubbing her little fingers. I did not take a picture of it because I was afraid they would stop. We weren't doing much talking and for some reason the radio was very low, but I could hear Silent Night playing softly. I said a small prayer, and was so thankful for this sweet simple moment. It made my Christmas very happy and fulfilling. It was a perfect way to end our Christmas!

Party like a Christmas Star!
Chloe's school party was this past Thursday. She had the best time! She got to be Santa's helper and sit beside him, and hand him candy to give to all the students. She was so excited! She tried to act real cool like it was no big deal. Her teacher and I were cracking up because you could tell she was beside herself with happiness. The kids were all high off all the sugar that had put in their little bodies, running around everywhere acting like little sugar junkies. It was quite a site to see! Her buddy Jackson (the red head boy in the pic)got her a Hannah Montanna Build a Bear doll, and oh my goodness Chloe was beyond excitement. Now the bear goes everywhere she goes.. her room, the bathroom, the bed, the car, and anywhere else she is. If Berkley goes near it she STROKES out! I like to mess with her and hide it when she's not looking, or put it in Berkley's room. Just little mind games mom likes to play :-)
