Chloe's Pre-k graduation, 50s style..sniff sniff

It was the week I had been dreading for months now. Chloe's last week of pre-school, and her graduation..boo hoo!! I cried every single day last week. I knew I would cry graduation day (which was Monday) but was not expecting the water works every other day...geez. Chloe was so excited about her graduation. She has been practicing at home on her songs, and her speech, which she did all by herself. You could not hear a word she said, but we were stunned that she even attempted it!! The program was very cute. Chloe got the little princess award. We were very proud of her! They did a little Grease Lightning dance, and some other cute songs that just made me cry more, and oh my goodness the slide show just sent me over the edge. Daddy was laughing at me the whole time.
The last day of school the kids took a field trip to Craighead Forest. They had lots of fun playing on the play ground, and getting wet at the splash park!!

The sad part is not leaving her friends(most of her close friends will also go to Kindergarten with her)it is leaving her teachers. They are soo wonderful, and they are not only great teachers, but have become dear friends of mine. They have been with Chloe since she was a baby. She loves them both very much, and so do I!! So as this chapter of her life is over I look back on the last 5 years. I am very proud of Chloe, and the little girl she is becoming. She is very independent, and she always shocks me with her little mind, and the things she can remember. She is a sweet and helpful big sister. As this point in her life when she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian, or a teacher. I think she would be great at either of them! She is soo excited about starting Kindergarten. I on the other hand am going to spend the summer in total denial of what August will bring!! Who's with me??!!

Family shots with our little graduate!!

Chloe and Jackson. These two have been together since they were 8 weeks old. Luckily they will go to Kindergarten together too!!

T-Ball Days are the Funnest Days

We LOVE Chloe's t-ball team this year! We are friends with almost everyone, and it is super fun and cute to watch the girls play!! Almost every girl on the team has a younger sister, except there is one little boy (poor guy). Emma is the best babysitter with the little ones! The little sis's are just as fun to watch. They are our "Dugout Managers". They make sure everything in the dugout is where it needs to be. They keep the line-up going, fight over toys, eat dirt, and food. Major important stuff!! If there is a helmet, ball, bat, glove, or drink missing, you can almost always find it with a little sister.. Check out Chloe's biggest fan with the helmet on the "cool" way. I am sad that the season will be over in a couple of weeks, but can't wait till next seaason!! Go Rascals!!

Why I like being Chloe and Berkley's Mommy...

It is the bestest, funniest, cutest, craziest, sweetest, messiest, and smartest thing I ever done. My girls and I were chatting about Mother's Day coming up, and Chloe starts with the 23 questions..

Are you and all the mommies going to have a party with cake?? Now you may be on to something there!

Are you going to tell me and Berkley you love us like a hundred times...we get it you loves us Mommy!! That makes me love you even more....ugh!!

Can I be a mommy so I can have a Mother's Day?? In about 32 years!

Can me, Daddy, and Berkley get you lots of presents?? If you insist!!

What about the kids that don't have Mommies?? We pray for them.

How many days till my birthday?? 38 after Mother's Day.

Mommy teachers are our mommies at school aren't they?? Right on there smarty pants!!

Mommy do you love your Mommy?? Very much so!!

Mommy I know Berkley loves you cuz she yells your name really loud when she sees you!! Tru Dat..

Mommy I am glad Jesus picked you to be mine and Berkley's Mommy...Not as glad as Mommy is!!

Whether you are a mommy to wild kids, calm kids, furry kids, have hubbys that are kids, my teacher pals that are mommies to 15-30 kiddos everyday I wish you all a Happy Freakin Mother's Day!!!
